Alpha Read

I treat alpha reads like a light developmental edit, with a focus on the overall story and coherence in a manuscript. It covers character arcs, plot holes, dialogue flow, themes, and pacing.

Copy/Line Edit

$0.005USD/word

Copy/Line edits focus on the language used. We’re not here to do any major rewrites (unless something truly egregious pops up!), but it’s time to focus on phrasing, grammar, and the like. It will cover word choice, repetitive words/sentences, consistency, phrasing, spelling, dialogue, grammar, basic formatting (ex. correct paragraph usage), and author voice.

Proofread

$0.002USD/word

No one and nothing will be perfect. But with a good proofreader, you can get close. A proofreader will be another set of eyes to look for correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

Beta Read

FREE

Beta readers come in before copy/line edits. I help catch minor plot holes, inconsistencies, glaring character issues, and missing elements.
